Students will be held to the following expectations in this class:
Integrity:
Do the work, never cheat, and take pride in each assignment.
Respect:
Your Classmates (bullying, put-downs, rudeness will not be tolerated)
Teacher (follow class rules)
Yourself (take pride in you!)
Discipline:
You are responsible to follow expectations, try your hardest, wisely manage your time and be RESPECTFUL. There will be consequences for inappropriate behavior.
Grading
Grades are based on homework, class work, positive behavior, class participation, tests, quizzes, written compositions, and projects. You will be given an extra two days for late work but taking a penalty of receiving a 65% on that particular assignment.

Sign-Outs
You will be given three sign-outs per quarter. It is important that you use them wisely. Once they are used up you no longer have any sign-out privileges.
Absences
If you are absent, YOU are responsible to get your work from myself and your other teachers. You are responsible for any missing work.
Attendance Policy
EJHS allows for nine absence points (excused, unexcused, or any combination thereof) per semester per class. Any student exceeding nine absence points is subject to additional consequences, which may result in the student's failure to earn credit.
