Course Objective:
In this class, students will be expected to listen, read, speak, write, use language and enjoy different types of literature, grasping all the main components of a balanced English education. Students will be given numerous opportunities to improve reading comprehension and fluency with a variety of reading material. There will be a strong focus on student writing where students will learn how to "power write" both narrative and expository compositions. This will be done through the use of a variety of technology formats. Students will also participate in various activities enhancing vocabulary and grammar.
